Spring is springing and the Beehaus is buzzing

The great thing about having the Beehaus at the end of the garden is that I can see it from my office window and go visit with a cup of tea whenever I please. Yesterday I trooped out, with cat in tow, and spent almost half an hour just sitting and watching the bees come in and out of the entrance. Whilst basking in the Spring sunshine, I took a few photos:

Great news that bees were flying in with full pollen sacs as that means old queenie is laying.

Jess chose to hide behind the shed. She's still not convinced by the new addition to the garden.

The garden is a bit of a shambles so any tips on bee friendly plants let me know.
