The 'tree bees' are in their new home

The tree bees - so named because they moved into my bait hive that I'd balanced on a branch of the apple tree - were put in their new home today. But I couldn't just put them in there straight away otherwise they'd keep flying back to their old home, so I had to do it a foot or two every other day.  Here is the journey they've had to take, although it's not over yet as I still have to move them down and back a bit.

They are finding their way in and out, which is great.

The Beehaus bees also had a fly out in the sunshine today.
